Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science, there is no need to extend the ID card in person at the seat of the university.

By the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science of February 25, 2021 a temporary limitation of the functioning of some entities of the higher education and science system was introduced in relation to the prevention, counteraction and combating COVID-19. From the moment the restriction is lifted, pursuant to Art. Whereas Article 51b (1) of Regulation (EEC) No 245 4 of the Law on Higher Education and Science, student ID cards will remain valid for 60 days.
